Wow! I feel like I've been scrapping all month long, and not been able to show you guys anything! So finally I get to reveal my June layouts for Crop Addict. It was really nice to scrap with some reds and blues (totally makes this Ole Miss fan happy!) of Little Yellow Bicycle's Zach's Life, as well as the gorgeous Crush line from Crate Paper. Here's what I was able to crank out!
Caroline and Josh on the Waverunner last summer.
She's fearless I tell ya!
A close-up of the layers. I outlined the waves with turquoise paint and curled the edges once they were dry.
Emma, Ben, and Gracie (my nieces and nephew) before a football game.
Sarah Kate's first time at the beach.
Our last day at the lake last summer. What a great day that was!
And stay tuned for my layouts and projects with Simply Obsessed and by GDT spot with Coordinate Collections. I should be able to reveal those really soon! ;) Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Memorial Day weekend pictures
">
Wow! We had such a great Memorial Day weekend! But boy was it hot!!! I took most of these pictures yesterday when we visited both my mom and grandparents at their lakehouse, as well as my dad at his. We all couldn't believe how hot and humid it was for the end of May! Looks like it'll be a loooong hot summer. But we had a really great time seeing and visiting with everyone!
Also, it just so happened that Sarah Kate took her first steps at my grandparents house! So fun! We were all so so happy and excited for her! After having a preemie and knowing that there will be some "developmental delay" it's always such sweet joy to see her accomplishing her milestones. I can't imagine life without Sarah Kate, and to think that there was a chance that she wouldn't be here, makes me celebrate her accomplishments all the more.
So here are SOME of the pics that I took this weekend. Hehehe! I narrowed it down, if you can believe that! I think there's still 30 photos here, but you get a good idea how are weekend went! Hope everyone had a Happy Memorial Day! I'll be back soon to share the LOs I completed. (Uh, I'd never scrapped while playing a movie on the laptop. I must say that was some of the BEST scrapping EVER!!! Thanks again Katie! ;) )

Wedding pictures from this weekend
These are my favorites from this weekend. It was a really low key wedding, which was really nice. We enjoyed having the "other" Misners there to celebrate with us. It's always such a fun time when we all get together!
All 6 grandkids together--I REALLY wish Caroline was standing closer to Adin. Shots like this are a dime a dozen where they're ALL smiling and focused on the photographer (which in the case is the wedding photographer and not me).
The Misner Men
Dave and Ben chillin' after the wedding.
Aunt Jennifer and Sarah Kate REALLY hit it off! I was so thankful for that, as I needed someone to hold her while all the other pictures were being taken. Thank you Aunt Jennifer! You're the best! ;)
Sweet Emma! My how she's grown! She wasn't even walking when Josh and I first started dating! Every time I look at her, I'm amazed by her girlish beauty and the fact that time really does go so quickly.
Overall, it was a really nice time spent with family. It's always a treat to get to go to Mississippi to see everyone! And of course this time was no exception.

Simply Obsessed May layouts
I guess it's about time I posted my May layouts for Simply Obsessed. The newsletter just came out and it looks great!
This is one I did of Caroline beside the ocean. I was totally inspired by the Leanne Womack song, "I hope you dance" and so I chose the title "Still feel small" from the lyrics of that beautiful song.
A close up on the crackle, inking, and buttons. I wanted a weather classic feel so I went with these. I also cut the circle out of the pp, and backed them with the brown CS, but these pictures don't do that justice.
I wish the photos on this layout weren't so dark, but they were taken before I had any type of photo-editing software so I couldn't fix them. :(
The buttons and velvet swirls I hand cut from the sheet of Daisy Bucket embellies.
A white space LO of Sarah Kate standing up. I just loved the expression on her face!

My little bride..
I know I'm her parent, and definitely biased, but isn't she precious!!! I just adore my little Caroline! She's getting too big for my taste, and she's definitely becoming a little girl more so than a toddler. It's happening all too quickly.
Today the girls spent the afternoon with our dear friends the Harnsbergers. And of course the "big" girls thought they'd introduce my wee little one to dress up clothes. She was so fascinated by the whole experience, they say she played in the mirror quite a bit. Thankfully, Tab is as much of a photo nut as I am, and thought to snap a pic for me. So now I have some fun pictures to scrap...I can see the titles now, Mirror Mirror on the Wall.....

Redid that LO!
It was driving me nuts the way I had it, and it stayed up on my refridgerator for a couple of days while I re-thought it. But now it's refinished or restored, whichever way you want to look at it. and Thank goodness! I think it looks much better now. And even though it's not my fave of all time, I had a good time using the crackle paint (my new love) and the stickles. So here it is! Whew! No more worrying about.

NSD LOs so far, and a toot!
Well, Natl. Scrapbooking Day has come and gone, and I'm proud to say that I actually got quite a bit done. Simply Obsessed had an anniversary crop to celebrate the day. And though I was there chatting quite a bit, I actually had to finish up my DT LOs for them and do my challenge samples. So, I was scrapping away, but no one could really tell. Oh and just a side note, the SO Scrap Room contest starts today. Check it out!
Here's what I've accomplished so far. I still have 2 LOs in the works too.
This was my sample for Anniversary #1--clocks Yes, it's Heidi's make-n-take from the Scrap Etc. Event, but I spruced it up quite a bit with paint, ink, buttons, rub-ons, ribbon, and a 7 Gypsies tag. ;)
This was my sample for Anniversary #9--Willow With a wee bit of stretching involved, we ended up doing pages from when we were growing up. These are ticket stubs from my middle school years including my first concert, New Kids on the Block! This was my first non-photo LO too.
And lastly, I did this for Anniversary #6--Sugar which in this case meant stickles. And even though I took the picture at night, which didn't yield great results, I'm still not completely pleased with the end result. I may go back and embellish more later on today. I LOVED working with the stickles though! I just wish the picture showed their sheen better. Here's a close-up:
And now for my "toot". I found out last week that I'll be the June Guest Designer for Coordinates Collections! Wooohoooooo! I can't wait to get the kit and get started! I'm getting the Flip Flops kit, which is all kinds of girly! I'm so excited! Thanks again Jamie for picking me! :D

If girly's not your thing, then check out their High Heels kit.
And the kits are sooo affordable! $17.95 plus shipping! Wow!

It's the little things...
that are music to my ears! Like being in my scrap room and hearing, "Moooooommmyy! I pee-peed in the pooootttttyyyy!" And even though she half missed the potty and got it on the rug, that little voice just rings in my ears! Maybe we're making a little progress! Here's to hopin' at least!
Ballpark fun, a proud Mama, and a little NSD action
Yep, this is what the girls REALLY do while their daddies are playing ball! LOL!
Mama's proud! My girl's a ballplayer! Well, sort of. We'll have to work on technique later, but she loved playing with the bat, ball and tee. She just giggled and giggled whenever the ball would fall off the tee! Yep, she'd poke it more than hit it! Oh well! That'll all come in time! I did LOVE that she walked up to the tee left-handed all by herself. I promise I didn't prompt her a bit! So she's a natural lefty! Yay Caroline! I see lots of playing ball in your future! (hint, hint Bob bob! ;) )
On a scrappy note, if you don't have anything to do for NSD (Natl. Scrapbook Day for those of you who don't know the lingo) then head on over to Simply Obsessed! Jamie and Shauna have a commemorative NSD kit, many add-on specials, and are giving away AMAZING prizes! So go check it out! We're celebrating with pre-crop fun today, and then at 5pm EST the crop and challenges begin! Hope to see you there!
