What a fun night!!! I'll share a couple of highlights.
We went down to Ringgold to go trick-or-treating with the Jones fam, and had such a blast! The older 2 girls were Disney princesses, and the younger too were a lion and a pumpkin. Before we went the Daddies got home from work, Linda and I decided to do a photo shoot and I love with the results! Of course, my 2 wouldn't cooperate as well, thus the great pics of the Jones girls and the not-so-great ones of mine, but oh well. Josh says it's because I shove the camera in the girls face too much, and they're rebelling. I think they would rather have played in their outfits than pose for me. Whatever the case, they didn't do as great, but I'm still glad we did it.
While we were waiting on Phil to get home, the girls and Josh decided to hand out candy. It was so cute to see them pass it out themselves. After each group was given candy Caroline would say, "Hap Howeeeen!!" as they walked back down the driveway. It was really cute. She got into the spirit of things, and was just darling. Sarah Kate figured out that there was candy in her pumpkin, and would dig some out and chew on the wrapper. Most of the times I'd look over at her, she'd be hunched down in the wagon rummaging through her pumpkin to find "Mo".
As the evening wore on, the princesses did really well together. They held hands most the time, and ran from house to house. The little ones did their best to keep up, and Sarah Kate ended up staying in the wagon for half the night. But both she and Reagan did really well, and kept up as best they could.
Overall it was a great night! Lots of candy, lots of laughs and good times with friends. It's so neat to have families mesh so well, and each kid have a friend to play with. We're really thankful for the Jones friendship and our new tradition of trick-or-treating together! It's always so fun!
